Sharing Skills
The sharing of skills is one of the main strengths of the Key Communities partnership. Each member brings unique expertise and local knowledge to the partnership, which in turn can be used to benefit the other partners, either singly or collectively.

Skill-sharing projects have included The Papworth Trust providing expert advice and assistance to bpha to develop training to help disabled residents in Bedford back into employment.

In turn, bpha has benefited from King Street’s location in the heart of Cambridge and has transferred responsibility for managing more than 100 of its rented homes in the area to the Society. King’s Street is already managing flats in the city’s Cromwell Road under this arrangement and more are to follow at St Andrew’s Road and on the Arbury Park development.

bpha also provides development services to Howard Cottage Housing Association on an agency basis.
