Key Communities operates in two major growth areas and is currently delivering a multi-million affordable housing development programme across the east of England, and a range of other projects to support communities and individual neighbourhoods.
With a £41 million allocation from the Housing Corporation’s National Affordable Housing Programme for 2006/08, the partnership is forging ahead with an extensive range of schemes.
But this funding represents only part of the development work underway as members of Key Communities are building other homes with funding from partner local authorities and through many self-financed schemes, with a total programme costing £143 million over two years. The tremendous breadth of schemes includes urban and rural developments, as well as a range of high quality supported housing, drawing on the specialist knowledge and skills available across the partnership.
In the health and care field,
bpha is also delivering a £100 million programme to replace or upgrade care homes across Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, and building homes for key workers at Milton Keynes Hospital.
The projects featured on our website represent a fraction of the schemes we are working on.
