The lead partner in Key Communities, bpha, has a large, experienced, in-house development team of 13 development managers, together with professional support officers.
The team works closely with development professionals across the rest of the Key Communities partnership. These include a seven-strong team at Iceni Homes, the joint venture development company founded by three of the Key Communities partners. Iceni Homes now undertakes all development for Colne Housing Society, Cotman Housing Association and Suffolk Housing Society.
The Papworth Trust has its own in-house development team while bpha provides all development services for the two other members of Key Communities, Howard Cottage Housing Association and King Street Housing Society, on an agency basis.
Between them, the partners have extensive experience and expertise in both the RSL and public sectors and in the wider development industry. This includes well-established partnership working with the Housing Corporation, local authorities and developers and in-depth knowledge of land acquisition; funding and S106 negotiations; planning and consultation processes; modern methods of construction; long-term public realm management; and community development.
bpha also has substantial experience in delivering large-scale health and care projects through its two care partnerships and other work on behalf of the NHS. Please click here to find out more.
